Fashion is a form of expression that has gone through many changes throughout history. Men and women wear clothes to express their taste, values and personality. Fashion is also a dynamic industry that has churned out many memorable creations. People have different tastes in fashion, and there are many sub-genres within fashion. Fashion shows change according to the trends in popular culture. Everyone has an opinion on what is fashionable and should follow it or rebel against it. Fashion can be both helpful and harmful to society.
Clothes are a form of communication- they tell others what you like and who you are as a person. You can tell others about your interests or social class by wearing expensive or trendy clothes. Furthermore, you can express yourself with passive fashion choices such as hair style or body shape. People have strong opinions about what they see when they look at someone's appearance. A person's clothing style can help them interpret their thoughts and behaviors. For example, a well-dressed man might seem more successful than one who is poorly dressed.
Fashion is constantly changing as technology advances. New materials and manufacturing processes have led to newer and more diverse fashions available to the public. Manufacturers now have the capability to create realistic imitations of human skin and hair for clothing purposes. Japan is especially known for its anime characters, which have become iconic around the world in recent years thanks to internet subculture. People have learned how to mimic popular trends from other countries through various forms of mass media- this has become known as globalism or internationalism. Fashion shows in Paris, Milan and New York City often feature international models dressed in various styles from different countries. This has led to countries emulating the fashions of others so they can copy the style trends of famous people cities.
Fashion is an evolving industry that keeps everyone updated on current trends and favorite brands alike. Garments are used for entertainment, communication, identification, expression and recreation among all walks of life in today's society. Fashion trends span the entire world due to modern technology and globalism- but countries keep regional trends unique through their own internationalism initiatives. Fashion is constantly changing due to new innovations in mass media, manufacturing, design and consumer attitudes worldwide - so keep up with it!
